• VFS, operator of the Australian Visa Application Centre, is an experienced company offering visa support services to DIAC and other diplomatic missions in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the UAE, the People's Republic of China, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, Russia, Nigeria and Malaysia, among others. Trained staff will:
      • provide information and guidance where necessary;
      • accept applications and visa application charges;
      • forward applications to and collect results from the Australian Embassy;
      • arrange applicant interviews if required;
      • operate a telephonic and on-line application tracking system
      • operate a telephonic and e-mail enquiry point
      • return the passport to the customer at the end of the process.
  
  
• A service charge of IDR150,000 payable in cash will be levied per passport. An additional service will be available for customers who wish to have passports returned to their office or home address by courier.
  
  
• Other benefits of the new services include:
      • the Australian Visa Application Centre will be open 38 hours per week,
      • The Centre is conveniently located, with car parking and public transport links, such as the
         trans-jakarta busway.
      • a personalised service in comfortable surroundings with counter arrangements to
         accommodate large numbers of customers - access to a member of staff is assured.
      • the forwarding of applications to and from the Australian Embassy by special courier on a
         daily basis, guaranteeing secure transmission of passports and other documents.
